Hello again guys, gals, and nonbinary pals.
Today I'd like to talk about a more negative thing in the community that many of you may have experienced yourselves. There are a lot of positive things about putting yourself out there, whether it be a cute photo or a status update. This is also included in the petplay community, but there are some more people that focus in on the group we hold so dear. Some people call them fake doms, or just generally not nice people.
The solution can be as easy as blocking them, or maybe for some they may follow from one account to another. The more negative experiences tend to happen when you say no to any sexual advances these supposed doms put forth.
A very common occurrence is when you say no to someone's advances and then one of two things, or maybe both, happen.
1. "But I've been so nice to you, I deserve this."
2. "Well you're not cute anyway."
So generally, either it goes to guilting you into sending nudes or whatever the situation may be, or they completely flip over and then say how you're ugly and who would want to be with you anyway.
The next part, I want you to really notice so I'll put it in full caps. DON'T BE WITH THESE PEOPLE I know it's easy into getting in your own head and thinking they're the best you'll get or trying to look over these kind of things, but this is a huge warning sign that this will just not get any better later on. If that's the FIRST impression, what's their second going to be?
Just remember to have self respect for yourself and know you never have to settle for someone that does not treat you like the wonderful person you are.
Lots of Love - Salem
