Hi everyone, today I thought we'd talk about something I and anyone else who is interested in creative outlets experience, creativity blocks. This is basically when you don't know what to create and just generally feel uninspired, and it can make you question if your really enjoy whatever it is you're creating.
"Gear doesn't make the pet"
Hi Cuties! Recently we had a request on Tumblr for an article from someone explaining how you don’t need to wear gear to be a pet!
SO HERE IT IS! =^_^= Thanks to the amazing purrson who requested this so we can address it and feel comfy as we are! So let’s get started!
There are a lot of kitties, bunnies, pets, floof, foxes, puppies and more in the community; As well as the more BDSM side of pet ownership and mastership. Of course the latter is a special connection between two or more individuals on consent and rules to where they feel comfortable. I won’t touch on the BDSM side as this is not what the article is about (however points said may still apply to those in BDSM) and each purrson has their own view and take on those kinds of relationships. Let’s get back to the real reason we are here!
So for me I've just recently gone back to school a week ago and others have gone back even earlier and the rest will be going back in the coming weeks. School can understandably be hard for some people so I thought I'd put together some tips to make your school year as stress free as possible.
Being in kitten space is.....probably a kittens most favourite thing!? But perhaps your out of ideas on things to do while in kitten space?
Here are 10 kitten space activities to help make your kitten space that little bit more fun :3
1. Take naps!
All kitties deserve a good nap, its like, beauty sleep - but a cat nap!
Find a nice space to lay down and curl up in a ball for the next 20 minutes or so. Become your fluffy inner peaceful kitten, so that you have enough energy later to cause havoc!
Neko boys are, well, just as important as the neko girls!
However, it can be hard to find other kitten boys around or feel a sense of belonging, being a boy in a female majority community. Nonetheless boys - remember - you do belong! And welcome to our little family!
For the past month, I've taken my dog, Apollo, a springer spaniel, for a walk around my village every day. Iv'e been struggling mentally recently but I cannot express how much it has helped me. Theres a field that is a 6 minute walk from my house and almost every day, even then I didn't want to, I have at least walked to the field and back. Most times I did that, I ended up just walking around the field anyway, even though I had only intended to walk the 6 minutes there and back. I try to take him out for 35 minutes every time we go out and it's given me so many benefits in the short time we've been doing it.
Hey everyone! It’s the end of January and this is a common time for people to fall of track of their New Year Resolutions! I have a great passion for health and being the best you that you can possibly be. I think it’s so important to look after your body, so that when you reach your goals later in life, you’re able to live them and enjoy them to the fullest without having to worry about fixing your health then. So I decided to start this series of health related posts. This first one will be about how you can get started and the very easy steps you can take on your self-improvement journey. If these go down well, I hope to make more articles like this, including recipe ideas, easy healthy switches you can make, work out routines and photosets showing how to correctly do certain exercises so that you don’t hurt yourselves (maybe a video, showing a workout routine?).
Anyway, here are my tips on how to can start out eating healthier! My first little tip, don’t feel overwhelmed that you have to do all of these things within a week. If it takes you a month or two months to get everything sorted, then that’s perfectly fine. Work at your own pace so that you’re comfortable with the changes.
Hi everyone! I had been in a bit of a block as far as what I should write about and then I decided maybe I should write about a big part of why that block is there.
As someone with mental health issues, I've found (particularly in the past couple of years) that around the holidays and a little bit after my depression and anxiety can go from being decently under control to me having multiple panic attacks in a day, even though I hadn't had one for month prior. It's something that is very hard for me and it's very hard for me to really talk about it so I thought for others that may be going through similar things, I'd write some things that help me out.
Hiya lovelies, since first being a part of Neko Palace I've seen quite a few people talk about how this site has become one of their first resources to learn about the community. This is super great, and I decided I would run with this and talk a little bit about being new in the community (mainly kitten community but a lot could apply for other pets as well I would assume) and some good resources to better educate yourself!
I can remember once I started embracing this side of myself, I was very nervous to wear gear in public or act like my pet self around other people. It was very intimidating because I was scared that people would ask questions and I would have to tell them the ins and outs of this lifestyle. Spoiler alert to you all – you do not owe anybody an explanation! You have every single right to wear or act how you wish and not have to justify it. But I know for me in the early stages, knowing this wasn’t enough of a confident boost; so I hope the things I’ll be sharing in this article will help you feel more able to embrace this side of you more.
I am going to start off this article by saying this isn’t kitten play related as it can be applied to anyone’s relationships or friendships as distance affects anyone it isn’t limited.
I have recently left home to attend a university three hours away and as such I have had to deal with leaving my family, boyfriend and friends behind, now I know what you’re thinking, why choose a university so far from home if you didn’t want to leave anyone behind?
Good question, but put simply I chose this uni as it’s the best in the UK for Forensic Science. As much as I love everyone back home I know they will always support me, so ultimately I chose this university to give me the best opportunity to get the career I desire. Due to me being so far from home I can only see my partner and family once every two or sometimes three weeks so it can be hard to adjust from seeing them more or less every day to once or twice a month.
As people (like me) are entering a new school year or possibly are just dealing with general stresses in everyday life or the workplace, I thought I'd just piece together a couple of options and ideas for how to relax when needed. I combined some general one as well as some more kitten-centric ones!
Kitten play/cosplay can often times feel like a competition to see who can be the best or cutest kitten and it shouldn't feel like that! Here we will talk about the expectations you may feel as a kitten!
