We're in the midst of the holiday season so I hope that's going well for all of you and it's a positive time. I thought I would make a little guide of pet-related items you could get for any pets in your life whether they be a friend or your partner. These can apply for any occasion and aren't specific to just kittens but can apply to a wide range of pet players and cosplayers alike.
This is a really nice category because there are so many different types of collars and a large price range if you're wanting to get a couple tattoo chokers or go all out on a more expensive ribbon or biothane collar. Inexpensive chokers can be purchased just about anywhere and some of my suggestions would be Hot Topic or Etsy. Hot Topic on occasion has had chokers with more of a collar look and even one with a kitten pendent at one point so you can find some pet vibes in some of their chokers. Then with Etsy you can find a large variety of chokers and have more customization options in what your partner or friend would like.
An inexpensive and really cute idea that's not as obvious as the other options on this list. A cute mug that just said kitten or puppy is a solid gift choice and is something they'll probably use more often than gear items. It also could be a really cute couple thing if you're in any kind of owner/pet relationship you can get matching mugs which would be heckin cute.
This is definitely a more expensive gear gift but if you're wanting to do something a bit bigger this is a good option. I'd recommend going for Made-To-Order ears as trying to go after a specific pair of ears in a release will be very difficult. If you wanted to go all out you could try to get a custom pair done but be sure to check out whatever shop you're inquiring into and have a general idea of what style of ears the person you are shopping for enjoys.
Tails tend to fall between collars and ears in terms of price and can be a good choice if ears are too expensive but you still want to get something in the same realm. Once again just be sure to know what animals and colors the person you're shopping for likes, as well as what length they would possibly want.
5. Protective Gear
So not as objectively cute as ears and tails but if you have a pet or you're friends with someone who is a pet getting them protective equipment like knee pads or hand covers/mittens is a pretty good idea as it keeps their body safe while they're playing. Plus a lot of people like mitts since it restricts the use of their hands and helps them get into the pet headspace.
6. Your Company
While spending money on presents for people can feel good it's important to know that you can celebrate special occasions and holidays without them. Surrounding yourself with the people you love is one of the greatest gifts of all in my opinion.
Okie dokie everyone that is the end of my little list of suggestions. If you have any other suggestions in general or a example of a gift you've received and love be sure to share it below and I hope you all have a lovely day! -Salem
